Assisted suicide is an issue for heated debate. How can we know whether it is right or wrong? Obviously, one should take into account the desire of the sick person or his family but there is still a lot to discuss in this respect. The advocates of euthanasia state that every competent human has to the right to decide in what manner and at what time they want to die, especially when they are seriously sick and no longer want to suffer. Others are completely against it claiming that it is not right to do something of such kind even if the person who is suffering has asked for it.
Not every state in the US allows to perform assisted suicide. The main problem with that is as follows: people are not quite satisfied with the current state of affairs due to the fact that they are not allowed to exercise their freedom rights.
