Drunk driving increases the risk of having an accident. Every 53 minutes someone gets killed because of drunk driving. One of the most problematic aspects in this respect is repeat offenders. To be more specific, it is one third of the whole problem. Take into account the fact that we share the road with them and you are not sure who is the driving in front or behind you.

Obviously, the most common way to solve the problem is to take away their license. However, it is not always working as 50-75% of them decide to drive anyway. A better solution is to use ignition interlocks in order to stop them.

Another aspect to take into consideration is that every injury and death caused a drunk driver can be totally prevented. The thing is that the majority simply neglect all regulations and laws. What is more, the majority is convinced that they are perfectly capable of driving even though they are under the influence of alcohol. We come across drunk driving statistics every day.
